Hi to everyone, i'm Hernan from Argentina and i have a 1999 Ford Mondeo V6 ATX (cd4e). I'm not a good speaker of english so please ignore my language errors :).

I bought this car on january and a few weeks later the transmission box start to fail. As you can see in the photos, a lot of discs was burned and the FWD plantetary was in bad conditions. Well, i bought a master rebuilding kit by ebay and i rebuild completely my ATX.

Now i have the ATX installed in the car and i have an unexpected fail: All seems to be ok in P, R, N and 1, but in 2 and D position, when you push the acelerator you can feel the power of the motor on transmision but the car do not move. I think that the ATX is applying two clutchs at the same time, so the ATX can't make turns an axis on 2 different velocitys...

Do somebody know where can be the problem? Plese help me!

If you replaced the solenoids with another year that will be the problem.

Unplug the main electrical connector and see if you can still drive the car in "D".

There is a VERY specific adjustment procedure for the gear selector as well. If you didnt do that step it will not shift correctly.
