I don;t know if this is a repost or not, but we were talking about this in one of my automotive classes today. Dr. Bose, the same one that invented the noise canceling headphones, is also really big into suspesion. He designed a suspensoin system that works off of electric motors that is pure SEX. In 1/10000 of a second, it can detect a bump and instantly raise the suspension up accordingly, and prep the back wheels to do so also. This creates a perfectly smooth ride for the driver and passengers feeling absolutly no bumps. Also, lets say you are making a right hand turn. It will lower the left side suspension to compensate for what would be body roll to make the car perfectly level in any corner.
The movie is in french, after you watch the first 19 seconds of the video, fast foward to about 1:00 into the movie to see the car in action. At the end, you will see something simply amazing. What happens is there is a sensor about 2 feet infront of the board in the road that tells the suspension to lift. You'll see what I'm talking about when you watch it...
