OK... this was not easy, but I finally got a clean recording.

Just to give you guys an idea of how loud this is. I got out my SPL meter and measured it.

Idle at 1 meter from tailpipes: 86dB(A) (actually, 88dB on each exhaust pulse, 86dB between pulses... blurp, blurp, blurp...
)

WOT, at 4000RPM (highest ATX goes in neutral): 110dB(A)

It's loud as hell, I had to record the wav file from about 50 feet away to avoid distortion.

Yes, the Borla is much quieter. The nice thing about this setup though... It's almost always loud, but, for some reason, it decides to quiet down right around 65-75mph. There just a mild burbling while cruising at those speeds.

Mine is loud ALL the time. There is no decrease at 65-75. Suprisingly, the headers didn't make it TOO much louder. A little, but not rediculously louder like I expected.

It might be because of my y-pipe. I'm pleased enough, though. It means I can take this car on long trips without issue.

However, at 50mph... whoooooaaaa... It's like a subwoffer playing a continuous 60Hz sine wave.

Yes, that's what this is. It's an internal combustion subwoffer.
