I have a 2002 V6 sport repairable not yet fixed. Hit in front lightly. Key turns but no cranking. Dash light (I assume alarm), flashes quickly when key is in crank position. After a while wipers will go. After reading through this board I'm thinking it is a problem with the Pats. I'm reluctant to tow it to a dealer to reprogram it before I know for sure what the issue is. Any help would be much appreciated. I tried to pull codes from it but my snap-on scanner only goes to 2001 and that year did not work.
Thanx

If it was hit in the front lightly, then its possible that the fuel cut off switch has been tripped. Whats the state of repair, what was damaged?

How can you take it out? That would be ideal so that I could run the engine without having it towed to the dealer. Hate fixing the body before hearing it run. Costs me too much money sometimes. And I can just see the dealer mechanics being real helpful with a wrecked car on a flatbed. Any help removing the Pats would be great. By the way nice board you guys have here. Thanx for answers already.
