Anyone know where I can get some GOOD, "automotive grade", 3M double sided tape? Not the crappy "indoor/outdoor" stuff?

I've had problems getting my Roush front to stay on properly, and I was told that that the "automotive grade" 3M tape is the way to go.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Thanks.

in THEORY, you would find automotive grade 3M tape at an automotive store... heh, but some stores have a habbit of being bitches, not to name names.........................................................Canadian Tire

hmm, Rona or Home Depot might have the idustrial strength stuff... and even still, check Canadian tire anyway :)

I noticed the tape that comes on such pieces like taillight covers or bodykits from the manufacturer is different than that 3M molding tape you buy in wal-mart or an auto store...it's stronger for some reason, and it's black, not white like the other tape. I gotta ask my bodyshop guy where I can get that stuff.

Mike, i can get a roll of it for like 20 "real " dollars. If you want me to i can pick it up for you and you can PayPal me. I could ship it to you or to Buffalo, whichever works. ;) You'd get more than enough to install a full body kit. You should also try to get a hold of 3M's adhesive promoter. It'll make the tape adhere to the valence better.

the tape that i bought is black with red backing on it, it looks identical to the tape that comes on the tail light covers from cc.com and it's strong as hell. i know the tape u are talking about it's white and it sucks big time.
