I recently won an SVT Throttle Body off ebay. It came with the bracket and a throttle cable (but I don't need the cable because I have an ATX, all I need is the CC cable), this is what it looks like. I'm confused because the other end looks like it doesn't hook up to the TB, maybe it's a traction control cable? anybody know?

my guess is cruise control, and from my understanding, if you have an atx and want cruise control, you will need that cable

100% positive that it is not a cruise control cable..not sure what it is with that beading at the end.. could be traction control because I don't have it and have never seen one..

Never seen that cable and I've worked on 3 cougar/contours now, MTX and ATX. Definately not from a MTX though I know them like the back of my hand.

Yeah never seen it here either. Id agree with Cruise Control, or nothing related to the cougar..... Sorry to say.

I have seen that cable before on my car.....just can't remember for the life of me where.....if I wasn't 2000 miles from my car I would run out and check, but I definately have seen it
