Pretty good progress yesterday. Dropped the rear end out of both cars and put the good stuff on the new car. Welded up reinforcements to the subframe for the Roush sway bar. So it now the rear end has a reinforced subframe with Massive adjustable toe arms, TZT links and 278mm rotors.

This will probably be the last work weekend that ends with a drivable green Roush. Next stage will be converting it to a returnless fuel system.

Installed new KYB struts, replaced the OEM bushings in the trailing arms/knuckle with ES, new rear calipers and installed new end links.

Question about those, are these in the right side? It looks like once the suspension is loaded up metal will be touching on the end links.

BIG DAY.

Pulled the fuel tank and EVAP system off the green car. Started pulling the electrical connections - and it ended up taking all day, because there are no disconnects you can pull on those wiring harnesses. So had to remove the dashboard to get the last of those huge wiring harnesses loose in one piece. Both sides of the car, back to front and side to side. Massive H-shaped harness with dozens of connections and plugs and ground straps and grommets.

I had planned to do this work in stages, but things have changed. Now it’s one huge job instead of 3-4 smaller jobs.

Next step will be to put the returnless fuel system in the silver car, and lay in the body harnesses, and try to get the dashboard wired up.

Next after that will be to drop the power train out of the green car and finish removing all the wiring in the engine bay, along with the fuel lines and EVAP lines.
