so the options are either spend a little bit of cash replacing a stock flex pipe whcih gains nothign really... or spend a little bit more money getting a tb y pipe and new cat gaining performacne sound and the right to claim ownership to a nice y pipe..
well depends if you've got the cash go tb's if you dont' save it up and go tb's
The flex pipe is in the exhaust line for one purpose. It allows the engine, on hard acceleration, to rotate on its mounts without tearing up the exhaust pipe, muffler, etc that are hard mounted to the body of the car..
