Okay, here's what happened. It's about 5 o'clock, I just got off work at Amazon.com (second day). I am driving down one of the main roads that has a limit of 40mph. Anyways, I'm driving and all of a sudden, this old lady pulls out in front of me. I slam on the brakes and unfortunately it's too late. I smash right into her driver's side front with my front end. Anyways, point of story is that the Cougar is totaled, and now I'm w/o a car.

I am ok, nothing major, just an abrasion on my hip from the seatbelt, a sore leg from the steering wheel, and 2 bruises on my head from the airbag. The lady was brought to the hospital right away. When i first got out of my car, I asked her and she said she was ok.

BTW, I wasn't speeding (my car's noticeable enough already).

So, depending on my next car, I might be selling my new Borla exhaust system, AEM intake, and fstb. I'm sure the springs are messed up. Wanna know the really, really bad thing? I just ordered my wheels and tires, tires are already in the store, wheels will be here on Friday.

I'll try to post pics tomorrow or Thursday.

Im sorry to hear about your cougar, hopefully u get a new one or a better car that u want out of this. Good thing u and the lady were ok from what i read.

BTW: Is your exhaust the carbon fiber duals? If so i'll buy it as long as it not messed up from the wreck. How many miles u got on the exhaust?

Yeah, i'm looking to get either another cougar, maybe 2000 in laser red or silver, or maybe an svt contour. I've found 2 svt's for sale, one has low mileage (33000 for a 2000 svt) but it has a salvage title. the other one has 63000 miles on a 2000, but it has a dark blue leather interior. both are silver. If I get a coug, I can at least use all my parts again. I at least want to use my new wheels.

eeeeeeekkkkkk don't buy another cougar!!! bad boy, bad boy hehehe.

Naa sorry about your accident. If it'd been me, even if the lady was ok, I'd make sure she went to the hospital  I hate people messing up any of my rides. Even if they can't help it being stupid hehe.

Anyway, I wouldn't get another cougar. I had a 99 model, bought it brand new with only 14 miles on it, traded it in last year for a 2000 Mustang GT with 135,000 miles on the cougar (drove the hell out of it) Yea fun car, can be a show car. But SLOW. The cost to making one fast just totally turns me down compared to some of the quicker imports (RX-7, Supra, or 300Z) however it's up to you.

If show is your thing and you really like the cougar, cool get another one.

If show AND speed is your thing, the import wise, RX7, Supra or 300z. . .or Domesitc wise, Mustang GT, Camaro Z28 or Trans AM ;)

dont get me wrong, i'd love to have any of those cars, but insurance would kill me, being 19 and not in school yet. i found out in the paper that the lady I hit was 59, so I hope she has good insurance. I just need a good car I can mod and look good in until the mazdaspeed 6 comes out, then i want to buy one a year after it's released(less flaws). but yeah.
