i installed a walbro fuel pump on my 2001 MTX and the connection cap for the pump and the pressure release won't stop leaking... did anyone else have this problem, can anyone help em fix this problem for good... please help LOL...

p.s. i was wondering if i could just get some y type tubing and connect it directly to the pump and the pressure release would that work?

Why are you installing a dumb fuel pump in a returnless car?

The Walbro 255l/hr GSS-342 is a standard, "always on" pump. Your car DEMANDS a "smart" pump that can react and maintain pressure based on a "smart" signal from the ECU.

Unless you've got something new... The only option for returnless cars is the SVT Focus pump...
