Yeah, the title pretty much says it. My car starts vibrating when I go 65+, and its really annoying. I had to get the bearings in my front wheels replaced about a month ago, as well as the right tie rod. The vibration has been going on for a couple days now. I had the car checked to see if the bearings and tie rod are ok, and they are. Can anyone help?????

maybe the rotors. I used to drive a 96 Toyota camry and the rotors were warped so bad that it shook all the time when on the highway, not just while breaking. Does it get worse when you hit the brake on the highway? Or maybe a weight fell off your rim.

I had this problem really bad from 55MPH +. The car would feel like it was going over a bunch of little bumps all the time. I bought some new rims and tires and put them on. Instantly the "hopping" stopped. I had literally no tread left on my old tires, and I never hit any curbs or anything - so I'm guessing that my rims weren't bent. It had to be from the tires. Check those.

Funny you mention that Steve. I just got off the phone with my dad, and he said my mom's contour had the same problem. He took it to the ford dealer yesterday and they said it was the tires. He told me to check the tires.
Thanxs.

We took my factory wheels off tonight and they made it down from decent tread to wire in about 3 weeks from the shaking from 55-65 mph... heh
