How do remove the 2 vacum lines off of the UIM. Is there a special tool and what does everyone recommend using to clean the UIM out?

I messed up bad, now i need a new vacum line. It broke off in my hand!!!!

Take a different vehicle to the dealership and buy whatever you broke... I know one is the line to the brake booster -- and that wouldn't be cool if you drove with it broken.

yea tell me about it. I broke mine off too and I lost my brakes. If you need a quick temporary fix take an empty BIC pen tube and tape it up really tight to the hose and stick it into the UIM. It works. Just be sure to get a new piece from Ford. I think it goes for a little over $20. The only way I can think of taking them off is to detach them not from the UIM, but from the other end.
