In mine you have to remove the grill (two screws), then pull the headlight (2 or 3 screws). It's not as hard as it sounds.

There really is no need for one. Open the hood. Remove the 2 screws on either side of the top of the grill. Pull the grill out. Remove the screws holding in each headlight, I think there is one by where the grill was and one at the bottom of each headlight. Pull the headlight out carefully. Then you can access the place to replace the turn signal bulb.

Just go look at it. I promise it's not difficult.

I have a 99 cougar and was just taking a break from the frustration of trying to get my whole light casing out to change the blinker bulb. So glad I took a break from the car and not from the problem or I would have continued making this a much harder job that it sounds like it needs to be. Thank God for you all!
