People have been posting about a TSB for the wheel hubs/bearings. Anybody have access to the TSB? I can't find it online anywhere, including AllData. I'm looking for a statement about what changed, why it was changed, and the new part number. Thanks!

I just had my drivers side fail, and I have a feeling the passenger side is on its way out.

When mine failed, I got a whole knuckle/spindle assembly off a 2002 Cougar.
It had approximately 5000 miles on it, all for a cost of 35 bones

Ok, well there is no updated wheel bearing for the Cougar, same number. I checked TSBs and found nothing for the Cougar/Mystique/Contour. There is a recall on the Focus, maybe someone is confused. Either way, F5RZ-AA and BA are the part numbers for the front and rear.

I thought the 2001+ had different struts/springs/hubs than the 1999-2000...

My car hasn't blown up yet

Actually I compared the hubs, and they appeared identical.
2001+ may use a different strut, but the hub is definitely the same.

Infact after changing the hub, my alignment is better than before :biggrin:
