i wouldn't doubt it's worth that kind of money in Europe

a cougar cost (used 2000 with 40k on it) approx. $45,000 (USD) here in Denmark.

Actually it is almost $300 for the buy it now and a piece of plastic is not worth that much money, he's just trying to get as much as he can from a rare car. The only thing that makes Europe really more expensive (even if the exchange rate didn't suck) is all the high taxes that all these liberal governments have. Everything you buy here in Germany has a 16% sales tax!!!! Just because it is expensive and European doesn't mean it is good quality. They make and sell a lot of crap here as well!

The original headlight covers are on the MS Design Homepage:
Headlight Covers 114 Euro -> about 132 USD

The Ebay price was a little high, even if they were already painted.

Aren't the vtech ones only for the '99/'00?
Anyhow, there is no way I would pay that much for those covers. I just put it here to show how overpriced eBay has gotten, but at least the German eBay has other things for the Cougar than fake xenon's and glow in the dark guages. One of the benefits from being stationed here, I can use both eBay's!
