 that would be me. That's what I bought it for. I'm kinda hoping someone would hit me. then I can use that money to mod it

Almost happened the other night but then I said no, I really don't want to drive the truck more than I have to hit the brakes so the a-hole that ran the light wouldn't run me over at about 50 mph

that is what i like to hear. before my sister totalled her car, my winter car was a 93 ford escort GT and had my $1250+ system in my coug ready to be transferred. that wouldve doubled the car's value in a hurry.

There are three of us that don't drive our cars in the winter, four if you count Crispy. I spent $150 on my first beater.

Snowflakes are bad.

Boy I tell ya guys and gals after this week if I had any choice I sure wouldn't be driving mine. Monday I lost control on ice and slid about 1000 feet sideways between trees and poles going down a hill, got her straightened out and slid the other way for about another 500. Scared the crap out of me, but at least I didn't hit nothing. Took off Tuesday. Wednesday was thank God uneventful, except for the fact my water pipes froze up and busted, took off Thursday, then this morning I lost control on the ice and did several doughnuts in traffic, and again didn't hit anything. I'm thinking one of Crispys $650 ebay cars is looking like a real good idea!

I love my Taurus!!! I already put 3000 miles on it  plus as much as I hate to say this I really love having a 4 door... if I could afford it I would trade the cat for a Mazda 6 in no time flat..

BTW -- how crappy are your tires? or was it black ice?

Once just icey road, the other was black ice. My tires are only about 6 mo old, but they are Sumitomo high speed directionals, and I don't think they get along with winter well. So yesterday I put my stock 16's with the orginal firestone firehawks back on. Hopefully that will help. I live out in the sticks, and they don't do any road maintance. I do have a 4 wheel drive pickup, but it only gets about 6 miles to the gallon, and it's 130 mile round trip to work.
