Took mine to the dealer ship body shop and they put it on without the template. Took the scoop into home depot first and found the bolts that would fit and bought them, but I don't remember what size they were, sorry.....
really.... yah i heard they used TPO also instead of urethane for the front valance and hood scoop... i'm not sure if my hood scoop is TPO or urethane (nor will i ever intend to find out) but that surprised me also.
It was $300.00 to have the scoop and entire hood painted and scoop installed. I had a lot of hood chips and recently got a bra. So I wanted to do it all at once. Plus, I got rearended and made some extra money on the deal...
If my dealer tries to charge me that much just to mount my hoodscoop i'm gonna smack him one. I might just have to make my own template and do it myself. I installed my Visteon airdam and side skirts myself. Those weren't too hard to do.
