I want to SEE a 1.4 second 0-60 time. Partially because I don't believe its possible, I just don't see how you could get the car hooked up and actually moving forward that quick, but more because more for the giant mess it would cause in my pants.

well, there's a video on the auction page.....the first of the vid says 0-60mph in 1.056secs! faster than what i saw somewhere else, lol.....that's just stupid.

Top Fuel cars are estimated to get to 60 in 0.5 sec. Then again, they can run the quarter mile in about 4.5 sec at 320+ mph.

Top Fuel dragsters also have tires that expand HUGELY as the heat builds up so the car can actually grab traction. And small those tires ain't.

I'm not saying its impossible in a street vehicle. I just want to see it done. And then feel it. From the driver's seat. :biggrin:

This Supra would be good competition for that famous Plymouth Reliant, Relentless. That thing gets faster every year. He must be around 8-8.5 seconds by now.
