looking at an svt UIM but the guys says i need to replace the Press on the vacuum ports....WTF is that and is it hard to do? I thought he was talkin about the plastic lines on top but i dunno....anyone help?

Probably the sleeves that hold the vac lines in there.

If it is just the plastic inserts that broke, then you can buy the replacements and gently extract the plastic part from the metal sleeves. Then you just pop them plastic parts in the manifold and you're done.

ok coll but what if its the metal sleeves?.....just trying to get worst possible senario......also..has any wrote a how to on polishing the uim?

That wouldn't be likely, but if it is, I'm not sure exactly how you'd go about replacing them. I'd ask specifically what broke before buying it.
