Ok i have got realy confused with all these posts. I have a 2000 cougar and i have the svt upper intake, throttle body throttle body gasket, braket, and i fihgured out that the tsp is hooked up to the throttle body already. (1) do i use the stock plug in the svt tsp. or do i need the svt plug?. (2)My car has traction control, do i need the svt conversion cable from Sp motorsports to keep my traction control? (3)I saw that on the parts list that you need a svt throttle cable. Somone told me that the 2000 traction control has do do with the spark plugs and that i do not need to buy any cables. Can somone please tell me whichone it is? I looked through all the posts and i cannot figure this out? (4)If anone can tell me what parts i exactly need i would appreciate it i am confused. Thank you

If I interpreted it right the contour guys said that for the plug if it is oval you don't need a new one but if its rectangular you do. Don't know about the cable I'm looking into it too. Hopefully someone knows I'm trying to order this stuff today.

I assume you mean TPS (throttle Position Sensor)...But you need the throttle cable from the SVT and if you have traction control, you'll need the Cruise control cable too. I believe the '99 and '00 are the same in that way. Then you need the bracket and the TB and gasket. The Intake Manifold itself is a direct fit.
