Oh, I didn't know autocross events were cones in a parking.
Is it fun?. Expensive?

To my knowledge, we here in Europe have no such events.

Altough driving my Cougar at Formula 1 or MotoGP racetracks
is EXTREMELY FUN, it is quite expensive. (I can eat brake pads
and tyres in less than one hour).

typical autocrosses are cones in a parking lot, the courses come out pretty technical, this one had a 100ft 270 degree skidpad, 2 slaloms, a decreasing radius turn and a bigass boxed u turn that made for mad drifting/understeer depending on how you took it. Some of them are at old airports and stuff, those make for fun courses I have heard. An F1 style track sounds fun as hell, but probably expensive in tires. The autocross cost me $25 and I got 4 runs, 5 since they didnt get my time on one.
