What cams should I use with my 3.0L? SVT or 3L? I'm going with a 2002 3L with the 3L oval port heads. I'm then going to port the heads to match the split port design and have a custom gasket made. So SVT upper and lower intake manifolds will be used.

I think that the SVT cams will produce mor power.

Well I know they will produce more power I guess the main reason I asked the question was because I might be planning on putting a turbo on this engine later on and I know that stock cams are better for turbo applications. Forget it though I'll just build it with SVT cams right now and hold onto the 3.0L cams and swap them out later if I want to switch.

iirc stock cams build the power faster. with the built 3l you really should have all the power you need until you hit full boost?
