Does winter in any way harm a sub or amplifier? I live in Maine and we have very cold winters and my new system is going to be installed this week...just curious.
You shouldn't really have any problems... The only possible dangers I can think of are:
Subs: Cold weather might make the sub brittle and make it crack if you start pounding as soon as you get it. Just run it for a little while at a low volume first.
Just an F.Y.I. amps LOVE cold weather. The cooler they are, the better they perform As for your subs, like ZEXCougar said,
it would be a good idea to let the subs warm up before pounding them.
