how to i make my 99 go faster than 115 it just shuts down wen it gets there, what should i do or buy to fix this problem, and is there a govern on it i want to get all the power i can, and duels how shou7ld do that and where can i get them?

certain cougars have a Governer due to the low rated stock tires which are equipped on the car stock.

another solution is
get lager rims.
car will calculate incorrectly your speed.
I was doing 70 when my friend followed me by 78mph. I am sure because at that time, I called to him and asked.
so if u get lager rims, u can hit almost 130mph. but u dont know exactly numbers.

Why do you need to go that fast?

I took it up to 125mph, just to see how far I could get it, until the gov kicked in. I haven't done it in the 2 1/2 years since.
