Is there an adapter that will mate an aftermarket stereo wiring to the stock wiring? I wanted to buy a new aftermarket stereo but don't want to bother with all the wiring... Any info would be great as I am a rookie at this!
Yep... Schoshe has a few "snap in" connectors out there that connect from the stock harness to a generic pinout, and then a second snap in that goes from the generic pinout to a specific headunit. Check your local BB or Circuit City - should cost about 30 bucks for both.
i got mine for 9.99 at crappy tire...and that is obviously canadian funds...
all the wires will be labled for you off the harness just match them up to your labled wires on your after market deck and click click your done...your gonna need a dash kit aswell to make it fit in unless you buy a 1 1/2 din deck..hope that helps
