My rear caliper seems to be hanging up. I can hear it squeaking as soon as i start moving the car and after a period of driving. It seems as though the amount of life left on the hanging caliper is consideriably less than the other side. Just wondering if there is a do it yourself process to free it so it operates a little smoother or is it time to get a new one???

I remember past post about the driver side rear caliper locking up. IIRC it was a recall on some years.
could be the parking brake cables that are dragging and not letting the caliper release fully. I have replaced the cables 2x now in 70,000 miles.
