First off a special thanks to Racer X last night in helping me to do a last minute mod. My car is now sporting an ST200 rear strut tower brace :banana: The install went very well with the exception of the two frontmost lower backing plates which reside in a very inaccessible area. At first I didnt notice a whole lot but the car was full of crap and I had a passenger (who never wears her seatbelt...yeah, I know. I am tired of yellin at her about it so if you all want to then be my guest). Anyway, tonight I got to drive home on empty curvy roads and am happy with the mod. Between the brace and the Roush sway bar my back end is hella-tight. :thumbsup:

Now if I can just finish the stereo install by the meet I will be most happy. Thanks Madcat for helpin me out with that today.

Also, thank you Silverkitty for spending all the time you have on finding us halloween ideas.

The End.

Glad you got it in, what time did you get home?
Thanks for helping me with the parking brake cable install and changing the coolant. The car still hasn't sucked any more into the system from the resivour (sp)? I may drain some and add some water, only after I check the specific gravity and see what temps. I'm protected to. I also found a screw in the front tire so I plugged that as well. It was a Cougar maintence day for sure.

Ah, you're welcome. But seriously, for the last time.....

I know it's confusing, but geeze.

I'm glad you have your ST200 in too. I told you you could drive like a d!ck on the highway and test it out. If you told me, I would have been down with strapping in for some autox-ing on the turnpike.

I never wore a seatbelt until I bought the Cougar. The whole time I was growing up, my family had a lot of 60's and 70's cars without shoulder belts, so I never got in the habit.

But leather seats don't provide very good lateral support in hard cornering...

When you're driving, huh?

And so the universal laws of Physics change when you take the passenger seat, that it?
F = m*a doesn't apply to the passenger? Riiigght...

Ok, I'm done with this topic.

Again, Tony comes through with a defining statement that sums up all the is right in this universe...

Anyway, after a couple more days with my new mod I have to now say that I dont know what I was thinking the other night but there is a BIG difference. About as much as the Roush sway bar over the stock one. This car feels like it corners flat as a table now (and I have trashed struts). I love it. Its pretty too...all that long hard aluminum...yummy.
