Mine did that kind of when I changed the color of them, The one side was very faint and you could hardly see it. All I did was just re-do the install of the new color and it works perfect now. I'm sure there is a how-to if you want to get to it and check it out, if not you can you the new guage install how-to and it will get you very close to where you need to be.
