okay I'm not stupid I've changed spark plugs before, but never on my car yet and I wen't to go do it today and after I got down to the plugs and took out those [censored]y tube plug things from the wires and yah my rachet with the extender wat hitting the manifold so I couldn't do anything and the back plugs I didn't even bother with because the manifold almost covers them! So do I have to take the manifold off to change my freaken spark plugs or how should I go about this? because it's not working how I'm doing it!

k thanks what about accesing the plugs in the back towards the windhield? what do I need to remove to get to them because those seem real awkward to get at!

ive posted a detailed how to somewhere on the boards. the backs are easy to get at. just get atleast 8" in extensions. once you loosen the spark plug all the way, I stuck in a magnetic screw driver to slowly pull them out, since they are in a 6" deep hole.

if you use a true sparkplug socket there is no need for anything magnetic ..it holds the sparkplug in the socket for removal and replacement.

I've been reading up on people who remove the UIM and clean it out and stuff well there doing there plugs this is intriguing to mewhat do I need to clean it out? I saw once someone on here burnt the [censored] out of it! haha I think it was George! I'm changing my fuel filter tonight so I'll have some extra fuel left over to burn the carbon build up out of the UIM if thats a semi smart idea in real life! haha what do you guys think would be my best plan of action here!

it is ALOT easier to change the plugs when the manifold is off. Just set aside some time to do a tune-up...take the manifolds off, clean them, change the plugs, wires...
