I got rid of my old stock antenna and got a no name shorty antenna off of ebay. It is probably only like 3 inches long and I have been horrible fm and no am recepetion outta the thing. Does mostly everyone with the billet shorty antenna that custom cougars sell get decent recpetion on the radio or does it start to get static as well. Thanks

at custom cougars down below the pic it says the the antenna is cosmetic only and that u will loose 90% of ur reception

rufus nailed it dead on, for the most part your reception goes to crap, I would recommened either putting in a Amplifier, or getting XM/Sirius

People, myself inclueded, have been getting decent results with Jaged's shorty billet antennas.
