Is there any shift knobs that will fit the stock cougar with the reverse lock besides the two on custom cougars ?

You can just remove the reverse lockout; you don't need it. Mine is gone.

Unless you are actually worried about ACCIDENTALLY shifting into reverse...

how do you remove it ?

Unscrew knob

Remove shift boot

Cut zip-tie

pull reverse lock out of shift boot

Insert new zip tie.
