The thing looks ok and comes with STANDARD:

2.4 liter 4-cyl with VVT-i (2AZ-FE)
HP: [email protected] rpm
Torque: [email protected] rpm
17x7 alloy wheels standard with 215/45/17 hi performance tires
4 wheel disc brakes
standard panorama glass top
keyless entry with a new key design
knee airbags (driver side)
rear seats recline and can be adjusted in 10 different positions
with the seat folded down there is space for an 8.5' cargo
cast aluminum knobs
the dash was inspired by a Japanese paper - really nice
Nice sporty seats

All for around 19K

For us you can add the optional TRD Supercharger and get a little over 200HP.

With a nice lip kit this thing would be awesome!

A Scion I would actually consider getting. Amazing. Although it looks like the front end syling is a mix of Volvo (hood and grill) and BMW (headlights).

It seems pretty short on style. The interior is very bland. Between the two wheels, the car looks like a G35.

Considering that this is supposed to be the replacement for the Celica, I'm not sure it's really a step up.

Boring...

I'm sure it will sell (to 50 years old...) because it is a Toyota but if you are 25-34 (Scion's intended demographics) and have $20k to spend, there are better cars to choose from like Mazda3, Volvo S40, Impreza WRX etc. Even Honda Accord coupe looks better than this and for the same money.

I think it kinda looks like a RSX which I don't really like either. Go ahead flame me. :cover: I also don't like being on the WRX and Lancers jock either like so many people. :thumbsdn:

interesting. though I really think they should offer a dressed-down version starting at like $15k so it can go head-to-head with the Civic coupe. the WRX and new S40 start at $24,000 so those aren't really in competition. still, I don't see myself buying one of these over a Mini Cooper S or even a V6 Tiburon. I'd just plunk down the extra dough for the new Volvo or upcoming convertible Solara

the rear kinda reminds me of a tibby. Overall, tho, I like it.
