·I recently bought my cougar but it didn't come with the keyless remote. i bought one on ebay and now i want to know how to program it. i'm sure it's not hard, but i can't find out how anywhere on the 'net. please help!!!

Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within six seconds, then turn it back to OFF. The alarm light will stay on to confirm programming mode. Press any button on the first transmitter. Alarm light will flash to confirm transmitter programmed. Press any button on second transmitter. (Up to four transmitter total possible) Turn ignition to ON. Alarm light will turn off to confirm end of programming mode.
If you car didn't come with remote keyless entry, then I don't know if this will work. If it did, but you just didn't get a transmitter, then it should work.
