[Ten27Cougar]

Just wondering if anyone here has replaced their brake switch, if you have how did you remove the wiring harness from the switch?
Does the metal clip have to come off first?

Its a recall.... And it should just twist out...

i have had to fix mine about three times now...they never mentioned it was a recall piece..had to pay the fourty bucks every time...

the switch itself will just twist out. it is about a quarter turn one way or the other..i cant remember.

the harness will clip in the same way all elcetrical harness' do. i believe you have to squeeze it from the sides. but i cant remember. that either.

once you get down there you will see it.

i have to do mine a again as the friggin thing has caught fire again. this is really starting to piss me off...lol.
