I was just wondering...
I took my car in for a tune up and the mechanic told me that I needed to have the head gasket ( i think) replace because my spark plugs were fouled (oil...said it was from the leaking gasket).
Now...I've got an SVT UIL, LIM, TB, and MAF coming in and would like to know if this mechanic is just s***ing me, or maybe I can have these parts replaced with the SVT stuff when I have the head gasket done.
Thanks,
Drew

it would definetly be possible to replace those parts when you do the gasket, because you must remove them all in order to get to that gasket. Are you planning on doing the SVT stuff yourself, and thinking about changing the head gasket while you're down there.....you'll have to remove some more crap but you're about halfway there. You could easly tell your mechanic to just replace that crap with this new stuff, if he charges you more he's an ass. Someone with more info should chime in soon. I have never done a head gasket myself, but, could. Hope that helps a little.
