I need a quick reply lol

I am about to remove my rear hatch and woud like to know whats involved with the wiring and the pistons. I dont see how to remove them.

mine is coming off for paint but I need it on in order to drive the car there... I believe its just a few bolts on top and as far as the struts you just need to remove em.. there is a little clip there that you pull off and then you can just snap the lift support off... make sure you have some help.. that hatch is REALLY heavy with the lift supports off...

The bolts and struts are the obvious part.

The hard/important part is the Wiring Harness. Which is located behind the drivers side rear interior panel. You will have to partally remove the headliner, backseat, c pillar and drivers side rear panel in order to unclip this harness.


*Craig so kindly informed me of this last night! Thought I would post it as a benefit to those who may need to search about it in the future*
