use some fishing line (wear gloves or it cuts your hands up

) and saw thru the adhesive - there are a couple of posts so watch out - you have to sort of work your way around it. use wd 40 to remove the excess adhesive, or goo gone etc. then re-wax the area. purchase cougar logo - if you get the one from the 99/2000 front grill it comes with the doublesided tape already on there, trimmed up etc, so just line it up and stick it on there - make sure it's where you want it when you apply though - no going back

. one more point - this emblem comes with little pegs attatched for the front grill - you can use a dremel or exacto knife to remove these, otherwise you'll have a hard time.
when i did mine i used a butter knife, and it came out ok with only one chip. so you can't go more wrong than that could have :grin:
