i used crispys how-to on redoing the door panels. thank you crispy. well me question is...i am using vinyl and crispy mention that you should remove the old fabric. well i did that and there is all kinds foam stuff on the panel.

how do i get this off? i've been scaping at it for 2 hours with a screwdriver. should i try heat or something?

Goo-Gone melts double sided foam tape pretty well, you could try that. Heating it might just melt it into a big glob and make it worse.

yes... door pannels are ghey. :tongue:
took me almost 3 weeks to get mine done, (occasionally working at it)

and yeah, ditto on what Ellen just said... try that, see if that helps

Just to let you know...I did not remove my fabric and I am having trouble with it sticking because when I stretched it it did stick to the fabric, but then pulled the fabric off...so I don't know how much a pain it is to get them clean, but I would do it If I knew then what I know now.
