Has anyone removed them before???

I got my windows tinted last week, here in the UK, and the common problem of the dot matrix on the glass has caused the tint not to stick.

I would like to take the glass out so I can trim the tint over the dots and maybe spray it, in effect making the black border larger and fully covering the dots.

I'm sure I could figure it out myself eventually but it would be great to hear from anyone with this experience.

grab a razor blade and scrape off the dot matrix...

I don't think it's that easy to scrape off the dots! Most good tint installers can intsall over the dots! They are small dots and don't show up that bad under tint.
