How long do Apex seals last generally with moderate/agressive driving? and approximately what mileage do folks find themselves replacing them on their 93 Rex's?

I was told that the seals don't last very long, only about 50-75K miles. They almost always blow when forced Induction is introduced.

they dont last very long at all, a friend of mine treats his RX-7 like it was meant to be treated and hes replaced two sets, and hes got 72,000 on the motor.......he finally learned to get ceramic apex seals, they are strong and last a while, the installation of those things is a pain in the arse tho.......

I've heard of them lasting around 100k, or more, depends on if you have boost, how much boost. Really when you replace them, you should upgrade to 3mm, they're much better. I haven't had the pleasure yet but of course I only have 12k on mine
