Hey guys,

I recently put in my AEM and noticed that vaccum hoses were really jammed and looked gay.
Does the hose kit replace all three of the hoses leading into the intake or just the two smaller ones. Second on CC.com it says that a missing part will be needed adn can be bought at a hardware store. Do you know what part? And lastly,(Sorry i know this is long, but hey) Has anyone hap problems with the replacement hose kit (I.E. ,melting, ect..) and is it worth it. Thanx for putting up with an ignorant newbie!

Hose kits do not replace any specific hoses. They come with lengths of a few different sized hoses. You then cut and fit the hose to your applicaiton to replace existing hoses. you can also slice hose lengths down the middle in order to cover instead of replace existing hoses, depending on what you want to do, it's entirely your choice.

I have an AEM intake also, and know what hoses you're talking about. If you look at the image on customcougars, you can see the hoses that you'll replace with the hose kit, and that one that is jammed happens to be included.

You shouldn't have to worry about the hoses melting...they are made of a higher quailty material than the stock hoses are. If you need to ask James a specfic question email him or PM him...I am sure he will answer any question that you might have. Or you can call him...number is on the Custom Cougars.com website.
