I have a quick question. When you push the traction control button so that the light is lit up, are you turning it on or off??? I always thought that you were turning it on by doing this, but someone told me that it is always on and pushing this button turns it off. Who is right? When the TC light is off, if my tires spin a little light comes on in the dash cluster. When the TC light is lit, the tires still spin, but the light doesn't go on. Anybody know??? thanks.

If you read the instruction manual, it informs you that traction control (if equipped in your model) is automatically activated once you turn the ignition on. To deactivate it while driving, you must depress the traction control button on the dash. The amber indicator light will inform you that you have DISABLED traction control, bypassing the system. If you turn off the car and turn it back on, you will notice the light is NOT illuminated; hence traction control has reactivated.

Cool... I lost my instruction manual somewhere otherwise I would have looked. It took me forever to figure out what those snowflake lights were! The traction control doesn't seem to work very well. In rain or snow my tires spin in both modes.
