Yup, title says it all . . . i want to make a mesh grill from my stock grill . . . but i got new headlights and for some reason the mounting tabs for the grill are broken off and i have nothing to glue back on . . . although i have kind'a grown fond of the grill-less look . . . every else seems to hate it . . . any ideas?

Buy one of these grill inserts and put wire mesh behind it. That way you can keep the no grill look, but still have something there to fill the space.
