Pulley interference

Anybody ever experience this?

Idler pulley is making very slight contact with the tensioner pulley arm. It’s making a very slight squeaking sound as it rubs. I just installed this tensioner; original Motorcraft unit. The idler pulley was transferred over from my 2.5 along with the rest of the timing cover.

I mean I guess it will clearance itself eventually, but that seems wrong.

I don't think the later tensioners are interchangeable so that's probably not the issue, right?
I don't see any reason you couldn't remove that tensioner and grind it down a bit.

Use a ratcheting combination wrench on the torx bit

I've also used a pass-through socket in that location before. Same concept as the wrench, but you might be able to find a pass-through ratchet with a longer handle than the wrench.
