I bought the preditor hood and had it installed. It looks great but, the inside of the hood near the vents scrapes against my stock manifold. Just wondering why that would do that? and did anyone else have a similar problem? and how can i fix that so I can paint the engine cover.

I've heard of the same problem in the past, and also know of someone here in FL that their engine actually burned the underside of the hood....

Try adjusting the knobs on the front just above the headlights to slightly raise the hood up.
There should be 4 black looking knobs that you can screw down and unscrew. Play around with those until you can get your desired height.

Did you buy it brand new or used? I belive there were two different models of that hood. The first set had that problem. So they made a new set that could clear the manifold. correct me if im wrong.

I had one of the very first predator hoods with the deeper vents back in 01 and I had no problems hitting the manifold. Try adjusting the bump stops and you should be fine.
