:crazy:First my battery was getting drained due to bad alternator. With one on its way, I still need to recharge to old one
so I can get the car to the shop to change. During that time the battery went completely dead. Every I apply a jump
to recharge the batery the alarm lights and horn turns on for 30 secs each time I open the door or turn on the ignition.

What is going on? How do I fix it?

You're resetting the system... most likely you've blow a fuse or two now (you really shouldn't be jumping the car repeatedly....)

Sorry but I am new at this; I have checked the fuse box and all fuses are good. Still have to drive car to shop. If system is resetted how do I set it? Larry

You said 'fuse box' which leads me to believe you only checked one of the two - there is one under the drivers side kick panel in the cabin, and one next to the battery under the hood. It's the one under the hood I'd be looking at.
