After installing my V-tech tail light covers and found that the key was next to impossible to use to open the hatch, I too was thinking about someday removing the key well. It stands out way too much on a light colored car (mine is Light Parchment Gold). Did you fill your key well, or cut it off the back and patch it. Since the covers are ABS plastic, did you have to use any special auto body products to complete your job? Looks good!
One other thing I was also thinking about is removing the finger slot cut into the top of the rear bumper.
i love it, the only problem i have with it but i am sure you dont is that there is no reflective area on the back of the car now..i am sure the MTO would have some thing to say about it...but that isnt the worry i have...what concerns me is that (daily driver) sometimes when parking at parties and what not the road has to be used sometimes and if it is snowing like an SOB the plows wont be able to see my car.. that would be just ugly..has almost happened twice this year alone already..
haha...why do you feel shunned man, you did half the work
it's held up fine, its been on there for months with no problems....lance's dealership did a great job cleaning up a few of the remaing pock marks so now its virtually flawless...
