OJE-- what kind of paint did you use? There is a Krylon fusion paint that is supposed to stick with no sanding. I tried it, but it went on like NiteShades, except lighter. It would have taken 20 coats before it looked black. I gave up, sanded it all down and used traditional black spray paint.
