I went into sears today to grab a yellow top batt for my coug. The guy says that the terminals are on the opposite side and that they can't do it. So instead I got a Die Hard 700 cca. The yellow top was 750 cca.

I think I have heard of cougars with the yellow top batteries. Am I wrong in saying this?

A yellow top battery is a dry cell. It doesn't matter where the terminals are because you can mount the battery any way you have to in order to make the terminals accessable. Even upside down!

yeah yellow tops are great i have one. Haven't relocated it yet. So obviously they fit in a cougar.

*sigh* yeah, the guy didn't know what he was talking about yellows fit - obviously from that last picture.
