as am I. I was happy as hell with my times.

of my 4 runs, my best was a [email protected] with just a short ram intake and a catback exhaust on an ATX.

2 years ago, I was running a 16.3 with virtually no mods (exhaust/intake) + bodykit, audio system, spare tire, etc...

theres no way that Kenny and his much more performance minded cougar only runs 0.300 seconds faster than me.

those times were in the 300. Kenny hit 14.7 in his coug. It was very hot and I dont think the track was prepped very well, but I think it was better than last year though

I have scans of the paper, but my OCR isn't as good at picking up dot matrix. Anyone have hardcore OCR software? Also need to translate numbers into people from the registration sheet.

My first run was 17.098 and my second was 17.376, WTF?

SVT UIM
Trubendz 2.5 SS W/ Magnaflow muffler
Trubendz High flow cat
FRW
Mobil1 full synthetic.

I ran that same time with almost no mods. I have maintained the car religiously. How is this possible?

For those that are running ATX's, Are you giving it full throttle off the line, or easing into it?

2001, ATX, 49800+ miles, Injen intake & true Borla single exhaust, about a 2k rpm launch, retained spare & jack and a small sub (BassLink), 17.27 secs @ 81 mph.

I always give it full throttle off the line. I was running 17.2 all day, with only a Short Ram Intake, SVT TB, Custom Catback Exhaust, and a bunch of crap in my trunk :rofl:

I ran 16.15 in my ATX on street tires with svt uim/lim/tb, msds headers, cc cai, aps underdrive pulley, trudendz duals, adc chip, no back seats, no spair tire. I actually ran faster with the street tires than the slicks. dont know if I had enough air out of the slicks. they had 20psi

Last year without the headers and chip, tires that were 1' too tall and a CEL I ran 16.73.

Launched at 2k and Full throttle all the way down at 85.5mph

I could of made Martinis in my car with the amount of wheel hop I had!

I had very little to no wheel hop most of my runs (thanks to my GC/Koni & especially my Solid Metal front motor mount)...

I was able to do 5k clutch drops with the race tires to do burn outs in order to warmup and clean the rocks off.


Hotcat, did you do any body work or perhaps add any audio systems since your prior time (last year?) its likely any added weight would have slowed you down!

Yeah, a full fiberglass front end...LOL. I think when I ran it a long time ago I had the system in but, at Fest I had no system. Other then the bodykit I don't see why it would be so slow.

Where can I go to weigh my car, I would like to compare that with a stock coug?

a 17.0 was my best time all day N/A with a misfire.SVT UIM with stock TB(bad idea I know),msds headers,test pipe, stainless steel borla duals, AEM intake with filter more dirty than a amsterdam *****, stock springs and struts, and crappy street tires and when crappy i mean crappy.
